Our Investment Process

Introductions & Fit Assessment
We begin with a video call to get to know each other and to develop a shared understanding of your business model, company culture, and goals. During this conversation, we also assess initial alignment with our investment criteria.

First On-Site Meeting
Next, we aim for an in-person visit to dive deeper. This allows us to answer open questions and gives the business owner an opportunity to meet the KHCP team. A guided tour of operations offers valuable insight into the company’s day-to-day activities.

Indicative Offer & Timeline
If there’s a mutual fit, we will provide an indicative offer within a week. This includes a description of our investment model and a proposed timeline for next steps.

Exclusivity & Due Diligence
Once we agree on the key terms, we conduct a structured review of financial, legal, and operational aspects. This process is designed to be minimally disruptive to daily operations.

Final Agreement
The purchase agreement is tailored to reflect everything discussed and agreed upon. This phase involves detailed conversations with legal counsel to finalize the contractual terms.

Collaboration & Transition
While we aim for long-term partnerships, every succession path is unique. We offer flexible transition models, allowing the owner to gradually step back and hand over to a jointly identified successor—at a pace that works for both sides.
